He has legal experience since 1999 specializing in litigation in Civil, Administrative and Commercial matters, as well as in Insolvency and Restructuring Proceedings, Constitutional Proceedings and Alternative Dispute Resolutions. Raúl García Herrera holds a Master in “Corporate Law” issued by “Universidad Panamericana (UP)” in 2017, as wells as a post-graduate diploma in “Constitutional Law” issued by “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)” in 2009. He was congratulated with honors and received his “B.A. in Law” in 2005 from “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)” as well.
Speaker at the “Diploma Course on Insolvency” of the “Barra Mexicana de Abogados (Mexican Bar Association)” and the “Escuela Libre de Derecho” with the following topics: “The Assumptions and Effects of theAdjudication of Bankruptcy, Sale of a Business in the Bankruptcy Stage; The Role of the Trustee in the Bankruptcy Stage; The Disposal of Assets and Payment to Recognized Creditors” (forms, procedures, and payments to creditors) in June 2021. Speaker at the “Diploma Course in Insolvency Legislation” of the “Escuela Libre de Derecho” with the topics: “The Assumptions and Effects of Bankruptcy Declaration and Sale of the Business During the Insolvency Stage; II.13 The Trustee’s Role During the Bankruptcy Stage; II.14 Disposal of Assets and Payment to Recognized Creditors”, in May 2020. Speaker at the “Mexican Bar Association’s National Congress” with the topic: “The Need to Limit the Available Resources in the Insolvency Proceedings to Preserve the Rule of Law” in November 2019, in October of the same year, he presented the topic, “The Trustee’s” at the “Escuela Libre de Derecho”. He has been invited by several universities in Mexico to lecture. He has been professor of “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law” and “Commercial Law” in the “Master in Law (LL.M)” at “Universidad Humanitas”. He taught “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law” at “Universidad Latinoamericana, S.C. (ULA)” and “Constitutional Law” at “Universidad Humanitas”, as well as “Civil Procedural Law” at “Centro Universitario Emmanuel Kant”.
