Academic Background

He graduated with an Honorable Mention from the Law Faculty from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México with the defense of the thesis “Municipal Contest – An Alternative to the Insolvency Problem of the Mexican Municipality”. He has a Diploma in Commercial Bankruptcy from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (2018), a Diploma in International Bankruptcy organized by the American College of Bankruptcy in conjunction with the Universities of Chicago-Kent, Georgetown, St. John’s, Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Utah, and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (2019); as well as a Diploma in Canon Law from the Universidad Pontificia de México (2020).

In 2020, he became a bronze medal winner in the 2020 edition of the International Insolvency Studies Award, organized by the International Insolvency Institute, and has since been a “Class IX” member of the International Insolvency Institute’s NextGen leadership program.

Professional Experience:

He joined Guerra González in 2015 and was recognized as an associate by the firm in 2019.

He has experience in Civil and Commercial litigation, as well as in Bankruptcy Proceedings, performing such activities in the Real Estate, Energy and Corporate Sectors.
